About the method
The Sympto Thermal Method (STM) identifies a woman's time of fertility by correlating three signs: mucus, temperature, and cervical changes. It also asks couples to chart disturbances such as stress, prescription and Over the Counter (OTC) drugs, etc.
Daily observations of the cervical mucus sign indentifies the beginning of the fertile time. The STM teaches the fertile time ends after after day three of a sustained temperature shift or after the evening of the fourth day after the cervical mucus stops, whichever is latest.
