Together, we minister to people of all ages and abilities – elders, adults and young adults, college and high school students, young adolescents, and children in over 300 parishes and other locations.

Direction through services which include:

  • Intentional development of catechetical approaches respectful of the variety of cultures within our archdiocese
  • Fostering of diverse models of faith formation for parishes across the archdiocese
  • Certification of DREs and catechists/religion teachers
  • Involvement with Associations that focus on the unique faith formation gifts and needs manifested at different ages and abilities of life
All of this is done in collaboration with other offices within the Department of Evangelization, Catechesis, and Schools and also within the Central Services of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
